Over the last decade Ulverston has lost nine essential and well-used community spaces. Meanwhile, the town has continued to grow and change, with new groups springing-up to meet new needs. These groups now find themselves struggling for space. Ulverston needs an accessible space for community groups to meet, for making activities that feed our numerous festivals and for support organisations to have a base from which to provide their essential services.
